Through gentle, body-based practices, I support fellow humans in reconnecting with their wholeness, moving through with care, and finding steadiness from the inside out.
Andréa lives on the Unceded land of the Kanien'kehaka and Haudenosaunee. They believe in Decolonizing the land, and in a Free Palestine.
Somatic Experiencing is a body-centered approach to listening to the self. It focuses on helping individuals tune into bodily sensations rather than just the story of the event. Science shows that discomfort can get trapped in the nervous system. By gently tracking these sensations, Somatic Experiencing helps release this energy, restoring balance and promoting natural healing and regulation of the nervous system.
Through my sessions with my clients, I am also learning and healing from my own trauma. This positions me as a student of the world of deep somatic listening.
I am not an expert, will never diagnose you but I will listen and accompany you through the difficult stuff.
I am also very open about what I have gone through and how that informs my practice. Please feel free to ask me any questions
Specifically, I am a survivor and now thriver of anxiety, depression, chronic pain, with undiagnosed chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia, chronic uritcaria. And now I am working on my attachment and childhood trauma, as well as surgical PTSD.
The Feldenkrais Method is a gentle, movement-based approach that helps you reconnect with your body through awareness. Using small, exploratory movements, it supports nervous system regulation, reduces chronic tension, and builds new patterns of ease and coordination. Rather than forcing change, Feldenkrais invites curiosity and presence, allowing you to sense and move in more functional, integrated ways. It’s a practice of learning from within—at your own pace, in your own way.
