NERVOUS SYSTEM CARE

Experience feeling, sensing, moving, and thinking in a whole new way with this unique series of drop-in classes. Each session features gentle movement exercises designed to deepen your awareness of how you 
MOVE, THINK, FEEL, and SENSE.

CULTIVATE RESILIANCE

What will I experience during a Nervous System Care class?

You’ll experience a unique blend of gentle movement exercises designed to deepen your awareness of how you move, think, feel, and sense. The class integrates the Feldenkrais Method® Awareness Through Movement classes with Somatic Experiencing orienting and cultivating a deeper connection with the felt sense, grounding you in your body.

How can these classes help with stress and tension?

By focusing on gentle, mindful movement, the Feldenkrais Method® helps release chronic tension, refine coordination, and reconnect you with the joy of movement. Somatic Experiencing® supports your nervous system’s natural regulation, allowing you to process stored stress or trauma and feel more grounded. Together, these practices cultivate resilience, reduce reactivity, and enhance emotional stability.

Do I need prior experience to attend?

No prior experience is needed! These classes are designed for all levels and bodies. Whether you’re completely new to movement-based practices or have experience, you’ll find the environment welcoming and accessible. Each session focuses on your personal experience, allowing you to explore at your own pace.
