Somatic Experiencing is a body-centered approach to healing trauma. It focuses on resolving trauma by helping individuals tune into bodily sensations rather than just the story of the event. Science shows that trauma can get trapped in the nervous system, causing physical and emotional symptoms. By gently tracking these sensations, Somatic Experiencing helps release this energy, restoring balance and promoting natural healing and regulation of the nervous system.
Through my sessions with my clients, I am also learning and healing from my own trauma. My work is very inspired by what I am navigating. I build deep trust with my clients so we can heal collectively.
Specifically, I am a survivor and now thriver of anxiety, depression, chronic pain, with undiagnosed chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia, chronic uritcaria. And now I am working on my attachment and childhood trauma, as well as surgical PTSD.
I have ADHD, so I work with a lot of neuro-spicy people and I am trans non-binary.
Functional Integration is a hands-on Feldenkrais technique that uses gentle, precise touch and movement to help the nervous system learn more efficient ways to move. During a session, the practitioner guides subtle movements tailored to your unique body patterns, helping to release tension, improve coordination, and increase ease in daily activities. It supports deeper body awareness and fosters lasting changes by working directly with your individual movement habits and nervous system responses.
Awareness Through Movement (ATM) is a Feldenkrais group class using guided, gentle movement lessons to improve body awareness and function. These lessons help you notice habitual patterns and explore new ways of moving with ease and comfort. ATM supports nervous system regulation, reduces tension, and enhances coordination. Practicing ATM regularly can increase flexibility, balance, and overall well-being by encouraging mindful, playful exploration of your body’s possibilities.
Somatic Experiencing is a body-centered approach to healing trauma, developed by Dr. Peter Levine.
As I am working with you, I am also working with myself
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic approach that helps you understand and work with the different “parts” inside you—such as the inner critic, the protector, or the wounded child. By recognizing and listening to these parts with compassion, you create internal harmony and healing. IFS supports self-awareness and emotional balance by encouraging curiosity rather than judgment, helping you build a trusting relationship with yourself and fostering deep psychological integration.
