I am a somatic therapist working on the unceded sacred lands of the (Haudenosaunee) Ho-de-no-sau-nee-ga and the Kanienʼkehá꞉ka.
My offering is decolonial and decapitalist somatic relational accompaniment through stages of joy, grief, anger, shame, and action. The most important factor is our relationship - it is the ground with which we walk on. I use Feminist and Decolonial frameworks, somatic movement and trauma educated approaches (Somatic Experiencing and Internal Family Systems), and Decolonial European Ancestral direction. I also offer a donation based online somatic library.

My work is rooted in my own experience with severe depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, chronic pain, CPTSD and surgical trauma, chronic uritcaria, childhood abuse and attachment trauma, self-image, body-dysphoria and sexual violence.
My journey navigating healing has become possible because of the people who have held me. Having a container of support and belonging is the only way I am able to find a sense of ease - rediscover curiosity, joy - and reclaim and experience anger and grief(which I shut down to cope).
Through my sessions with my clients, I am also learning and healing from my own trauma. This positions me as a student in the world of deep somatic listening.
I am also very open about what I have gone through and how that informs my practice. Please feel free to ask me any questions.
Currently I am working on my undiagnosed chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia, my attachment and childhood trauma, as well as surgical PTSD.
I studied Feminist and Post-Colonial education at Concordia University. Many of my courses were on understanding and critiquing second-wave feminism and past philosophers. Within some years, I began to take interest in anti-racist and post-colonial studies. This lead me to a profound path towards understanding and critiquing whiteness. I graduated in 2012.
I graduated from a Somatic Movement training called Feldenkrais. Because of the depth of Zionism involved in the community, I have chosen to dissociate from the name. It does inform me on how to guide people to physically move through trauma. My questions are opened-ended, deep and come from curiosity. I understand developmental movement an functional muscular, neural and skeletal pathways.
I graduated Somatic Experiencing (SE) in 2026. I understand how the brain and nervous system work. I am not an expert, I will never diagnose you but I will listen and accompany you through the difficult stuff. I also normalize your experience and give you a better understanding of your patterns and shapes. I have taken small IFS courses, which helps me to use use parts work when it feels relevant.
My most recent educational adventure is with Embodied Ancestral Inquiry. I have completed Level 1 and am working my way towards Level 2. While Level 1 is not efficient to work with bigger themes around Whiteness, I have benefited so deeply from this education. It has given me so much knowledge on how to work in relationship, build a safer container to work with difficult things, to be present with shame, guilt and judgement. I have learned to work with different fields of experience (front body, back body, relational body, and elemental body). It has increased my capacity in working with body systems (primordial emergence aka: the river of life/ life-energy). My clients and I built ritual around anger and grief.
"I have been seeing Andréa for over a year now on a regular basis after I felt stuck in regular therapy. Andrea has a very varied “toolbox”, and every session is different. They explain everything well which I find very helpful. Each session is productive. Andrea is exceptionally kind, open and accepting and trust develops easily. I am looking forward to my sessions every week."
"Andréa has allowed me to create with them a non-judgmental space to explore my inner conflicts and difficult emotions with curiosity, patience and care. Their gentle presence has helped me feel safer in releasing emotions. Because of the work we are doing together, my body is softening, and slowly, I'm more able to experience the nuances of life. This is a true gift."
"I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the work we are doing together. I have been believing my body is defective for some time now, especially after the stroke. I had a difficult time “listening” to my body because I did not trust what it had to tell me. Slowly, this belief is changing and I am coming home (for lack of better words) to my body. I am very grateful. Thank you so much."

"I love this method! Andréa is an excellent teacher. Each session takes me deeper into the subtle power of awareness, softness and gentle movements. I live with chronic pain and have a brain injury, and the more I practice, the more I feel it helping transform and re-wire my neural pathways!"
"I loved how Andréa offered me different somatic movement exercises that gave me a lot of insight on how I move through the world; I could feel their presence and kindness. They were very generous in their teaching and support during and after sessions.
